Mission Statement

The IB Culture Club has been established to celebrate the diversity amongst our peers. The CCIBPO will sponsor a major event at the end of this year to display the hard work of the students who have chosen to participate in this newly formed club. This club strives to bring together the IB students of Lecanto High School and get them to better know and be able to understand one another. Thus this club highlights the world perspective aspect set forth in the IB Learner Profile.

Pictures of Club Members During Club Meetings:

Officers discuss allowing the sale of these pants to help a fellow club member raise tuition for her trip to Taiwan.

Sometimes there is music from different cultures played at the regular meetings that students can dance to.

>The club began with only a few members in 2015 and soon expanded to over 25 members in 2016.

The advisor and the ooficers of the club devised ways to promote the club and rapidly increase membership.

Serious discussions are held between club members about their own cultural backgrounds.

While serious discussions may be held, club members always find ways to have fun at every meeting! IB Culture Club is both a fun and educational experience!!!
